Prof. Dr. dr. Aru Wisaksono Sudoyo, Sp.PD-KHOM, FINASIM, FACP

Prof. Dr. dr. Aru Wisaksono Sudoyo, Sp.PD-KHOM, FINASIM, FACP is one of Indonesia’s most respected specialists in hematology and medical oncology. He is a Professor of Hematology–Medical Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia; a former President of the International Society of Internal Medicine (ISIM); a Past President of the Indonesian Society of Oncology; and currently serves as Chairman of the Indonesian Cancer Foundation (Yayasan Kanker Indonesia / YKI), where he leads nationwide initiatives in cancer prevention, early detection, advocacy, and public education. A highly experienced clinician, Prof. Aru has dedicated his career to advancing cancer care, improving patient outcomes, and strengthening oncology services across Indonesia. He is also providing his expertise to care for patients at Icon Cancer Centre at Bali International Hospital, helping bring world-class cancer treatment closer to local communities. His leadership in Icon–YKI collaborations reflects a shared commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care and expanding cancer awareness and support throughout the country.
